Sanchez Closes in on United Deal, Hazard on Mourinho Spat, Lucas Moura Loan Offer to United
Jose Mourinho has succeeded in getting Alexis Sanchez to sign a deal with Manchester United over a stunning January transfer, according to reports.
29-year-old Arsenal star, Alexis Sanchez, who was expected to join Manchester City to reunite with his former Barcelona boss, Pep Guardiola after a summer move broke down, is now close to agreeing a deal with Manchester United.
According to Sky Sports Italia journalist, Mario Giunta, United tabled a £25m bid for the attacker yesterday to stun their cross-city rivals, and despite scepticism surrounding the interest, United are closing in on a deal for Sanchez.
The Chilean is out of contract at the end of the season but Arsenal look set to cash in before the end of January.
Meanwhile, Chelsea star, Eden Hazard has spoken out on Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte’s spat.
The managerial counterparts have been at each others throats over the last few weeks, but Hazard insists the Chelsea players are not taking notice of the feud.
“I think it’s nothing,” he told DAZN. “Both managers, not just Mourinho and Conte, they like to speak in the media. But as a player we just focus on the pitch.
“We don’t care what happens between them. We just want to win games, that’s the most important thing in football.”
